Flag football

We made the mistake of signing Jake up for flag football this year.  I know it sounds terrible, and he really did have a good time, but it was just bad timing for us.  Jake loves the outdoors and we have had such a beautiful fall.  It was hard to pull him away from playing with his friends to go to games and practice.  It started when school started and Jake was feeling so picked on because he barely had enough time to have fun with Carson before it was time to come in.  Football infringed on both their free time because they were on different teams and played on different nights.  Next year will be better.

So, after that rant, here he is (the one with blue flags and denim shorts).

He only played defence, so he rarely touched the ball.  He made friends with all the kids he was blocking as the coaches were setting up plays though.  Sometimes they'd be so busy chatting that they'd forget to move when the ball was in play.  Once again, maybe next year will be different :)

He might be a good little football player though.  He likes it and he can throw well.  He also logs lots of time watching it with his dad.  They have been to a few Aggie games this year and he is a true Aggie fan in the making.
For now, it's over though.  Now he's free to roam around the neighborhood more...that is until the time change messes with everything...Sorry dude.
