Baby Animal Days

My friend Natalie invited us out to her house for a Cinco de Mayo party.  She has all sorts of baby animals and since we didn't go to the official baby animal days, I thought it would be fun for the kids.  It was the best evening ever.  Some of our other book club friends and their families came, so there were plenty of kids for our kids to play with.

Jason loved the baby ducks and wanted to hold them forever and ever.  At the real baby animal days, they wouldn't let him love on the ducks for as long as he did at Natalie's house, so we lucked out going there.

Nate loved the ducks too.

Allie was very responsible and tried to make sure her brothers didn't kill the ducks.

Jake had fun with Brandon.  These two would have some serious fun together if we lived closer.

Nat even had a baby bunny.  Who doesn't love bunnies?

The kids loved breaking the pinata.

Jason wasn't in on the actual pinata party, but when the kids cleared off, he was out there whacking away at the string that was still hanging down.

It was such a fun night.  I love my book club ladies.  They weren't all able to come, and we missed those that weren't there, but we still had a great time.  Natalie was a great host!  We should do this more often!
