Halloween

We have several boxes of Halloween costumes downstairs.  We've been handed some down from friends, and we've also grown our collection from after Halloween sales.  One of the saddest things about Jason being in first grade is that there isn't time before or after school (like there was in kindergarten) for him to put on all the outfits and become Spiderman, Hulk, or a storm trooper for the day.  This year, he only tried on one costume.  He was a power ranger.

 Nathan wanted to be Harry Potter.

Allie dressed up with all her friends as characters from Mario Kart.  She was Donkey Kong.

We had the annual neighborhood parade.  It seems like there were a lot of kids that I don't know.  I guess it's getting to be a popular thing among people outside our neighborhood now that most of our little kids are growing up.

It was a successful haul for the littles.

It was such a strange year for me.  The boys went on their own trick or treating and Allie went to a party.  It was a quiet night and after the huge flood of kids in the beginning, we really didn't have a whole lot of kids coming to the door.  Things are changing around here for sure.

I still love Halloween though!
