"Is it after this dark sleep or 7 more dark sleeps?" She always knew that it wasn't soon, but she hoped. It ended up being on the same day as a Primary party and I let her use her free agency and decide what thing she wanted to attend. Maybe I shouldn't have even given her the choice, but after weeks of cheerleader talk, it was hard to resist. She went to the little day camp and had a great time. They had a little program for the parents after and it was fun to see her out there with all the other girls cheering.
What mom isn't proud when they look out to see their cute little girl and find this...
Mike keeps asking her to try out soccer or t-ball before she commits to cheerleading...we'll see how things go 10 years from now :)

Here she is with my Laurel Mally. She is proof that cheerleaders can be super kind and sweet...and cute.

Love the picking of the nose and I love that she would say after how many more dark sleeps! i love children's concept of time.
