When I was a kid, our dog Lacy got into my bag of Valentine treats from school. She ate them all. Tore through boxes and left the place looking like a crime scene. I was so sad about it. I loved candy and was sad for days and days.
The same thing happened to Jake this year with his Halloween candy. This time, it wasn't a dog, but Nate.
I wish the picture showed it better. Nate was sticky and slimy and every package had been eaten through. Such a little turkey...

"In the gospel of Jesus Christ you have help from both sides of the veil and you must never forget that. When disappointment and discouragement strike, and they will, you must never forget that if our eyes could be opened we would see chariots of fire as far as the eye could see riding at reckless speed to come to our protection (see 2nd Kings 6:16-17). They will always be there, these armies of heaven, in defense of Abraham's seed."--Dallin H. Oaks
