It was a beautiful fall day, so we went to Bear Lake. We were invited to our neighbor's cabin and for a wheeler ride. It was a perfect way to spend some time in the hills before the really cold weather sets in.
Jason even got his first lesson. The dune buggy is faster than Mike, so at some points it was a bit crazy to see Jason flooring it as Mike chased after him. It was funny to hear Mike yelling at him to "stop" as his voice grew in panic and escalation. He got pretty good at driving (and listening to instructions) in the end.
Charlie and Tug hung out and became friends.
Our ride in the hills was fun. We found snow and had a snowball fight. I missed my wheeler, but I rode in style in Rob's RZR.
We had a good time and realized that this is our kind of fun family time. Mike is a whole lot happier on a motorcycle or something motorized than walking miles in a big city :)
It's all fun. Traveling is fun and something we'll always love to do, but it sure is nice enjoying Utah and all that we have just an hour away from our house.
Life is good. Utah is beautiful.
