Other Stuff

The kids loved playing around in the camp ground and in the pool with their cousins.  I found a few pictures on our small camera of things that they thought were worth taking pictures of.  There were lots of them sitting in these huge tires at the playground. That was a favorite place for a lot of them.

 The theme of Mom's reunion was cars.  She had a race track and cars for them with pit passes and all sorts of fun things.  They got kites, but they just got turned into a tangled mess in a matter of minutes, so there were some tears for that.  :)

 We made s'mores...

 ...and played on the swings...

 ...and got dirty faces...

 ...and learned to play chess on the giant chess set...

...and got to spend time with this cute boy...

...and then it was time for bed on our last night...



It's always sad when something that you look forward to for so long has to come to an end.  It was a great reunion though and one that the kids will always remember.  I am so grateful that my mom makes the effort to plan and get us all together.  These kids are making memories and bonds with these cousins that they will cherish forever.  Thanks Mom!
