Sometimes we go and get Allie and Jake from the top of the hill after the bus drops them off. Nate and I were headed to get them and we had this conversation:
Nate: How much longer until we get Allie and Jake?
Me: We are almost there. It's just up the road a bit.
Nate: Hey! Grandma has "up the road" too!
Me: What?
Nate: Grandma has "up the road" too! That's how you get to Easton's house!
I guess I learned to say "up the road" from my Mom and Nate thinks that it's a place. :)
