Apples

We got some really good apples off our trees this year.  I was really bummed that the honey crisp apples had so many bird bites in them.  Ugh.  If it's not deer, it's birds.

The apples on our red delicious are ready about a month or more before the honey crisp.  All the apples were really small this year, but we had enough to eat for a few days.

 Nate is a great helper.  He does usually eat about 4 or 5 while we pick though.  That kid can make fruit disappear.

It won't be long before the kids will all be grown and out of the house and I won't know what to do with all the apples we've grown.  I can hardly imagine it.
