The kids were eating lunch and talking about summer. Allie craves the warmer weather. They started talking about the kids that ride skateboards down the hill by our house.
Jake: Why are teenagers so crazy sometimes?
Allie: Well, not all teenagers are crazy, Stockton (neighbor) doesn't act crazy. He's a teenager now.
Jake: He is crazy when he is skiing. But why are teenagers so crazy?
Me: I don't know. We'll have to wait till you're a crazy teenager and I'll ask you.
Allie: Jake, will you wear your pants down low so we can see your underwear when you are a teenager?
Jake: (very seriously) No. I always try to keep my pants up.
