Jake and Allie played in a piano concert before Christmas. They both worked for months to get their pieces right and they both played flawlessly. I was so proud.
Jake's duet was O Little Town of Bethlehem.
Allie played Go Tell it on the Mountain.
They both started playing those songs a few weeks after school started and by the time the concert came around, I was about done with them for sure. When Jake got his piece that early in the year, he said "my mom is going to be mad. She doesn't like Christmas music." His teacher told him I'd have to be okay with it. :) I'm not going to lie...I'm glad they are working on their spring pieces now.
