Who let the dogs out?

Jake has been reading some books and earned the "Rock the Halls" prize at school.  He has been talking about it all year and was so excited for this day to finally come.  It's a pretty fun program.  The kids read books and take quizzes on them, and as their points add up, they earn different prizes.  Rocking the halls is for sure the one that is most talked about.  They play that song "Who let the dogs out" and the kids get to run down the hallway at school with the Principal and listen as all the students scream and clap for them.  Jake was so funny about it.  He had heard that the 5th grade hall is "deafening" so he put his hands over his ears as he ran past them.

They get a little medal and that has been a treasured possession at our house.  He hasn't taken it off for more than a quick shower since he got it on Friday.
