A Baby To Hold

Allie and I went to visit a friend in our ward who had just had a baby.  It's the only baby born in our ward in a really long time and she is moving away in a month.  Allie was looking forward to this baby being born because she hoped she could babysit him.  After visiting, they mentioned that it was their wedding anniversary later on in the week and that Allie could watch little Oliver for an hour if she wanted.  She jumped at the chance and then counted down the days.  

She had some friends who wanted to see little Oliver too, so when he came, there was an audience.

The littles wanted a turn holding the baby too, so we had to set a timer and let everyone have two minutes.

It was so cute to see the boys with a baby to hold.

Allie cherished every time it was her turn.  We lengthened the time to five minutes for the girls and the hour went by so fast that his parents were here to pick him up before we knew it.

We'll have to beg for more time with Oliver because he is such a cutie.
