A Favorite

Charlie loves Mike.  

Mike tries to say that Charlie only likes him for the food, but it's just not true.  Charlie does like food and most of his actions are based on whether he will be rewarded with a treat of some sort, so I partly agree with Mike.  Mike does feed him, so of course Charlie follows him around.  But he also seeks him out when there is no food involved.

The other night, Mike was already asleep in bed.  I was puttering around in the kitchen and Charlie was hanging out with me.  I took him out to pee and then he ran into my room.  He leaped onto the bed (a new trick) and snuggled up onto Mike's pillow.  

Mike kicked him off, so he abandoned that spot, but he found another one just as comfy.  So, Mike can't say that Charlie doesn't love him.  The other kids try to keep Charlie in their beds and he just doesn't stay.  Sorry kiddos!
