Smoot

We wanted to get to Star Valley during the Christmas break, but with all the workers in and out, it wasn't until New Year's Day that we got there.  It was windy and snowing, but still a really great day.  Mike needed that kind of day to remind him that he can have fun with his kids.  :)  We've all been a bit cooped up.

Charlie loves running in Smoot.  He's a country dog at heart.

Not sure why I don't have any pictures of Jake in this bunch.  He was there, guess he just avoided my camera.
We had a lovely feast.  Joe cooked a ham and his famous potatoes.  He even bought rolls that could be heated up.  He can throw a party!  It's strange not to have Barb there, but he seems to be doing well.

The kids lasted a whole lot longer outside than I expected.  Jason tried his hand at driving a beel and did just fine.  He got stuck, but there's nothing about stuck snowmobiles that his Dad can't handle.
We were happy to go.  Next time, maybe there will be sunshine.
